USA Truck and America’s Trucker are donating $35,000 to Folds of Honor with money raised from the America’s Trucker charity golf tournament in June of this year, according to Accesswire. USA Truck Chief Commercial Officer Tim Guin said that they are honored to support Folds of Honor by giving back to the families of our “great American heroes who have made tremendous sacrifices to protect our freedom.” Folds of Honor is a charitable organization that provides scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or wounded military members and first responders.

According to Accesswire, America’s Trucker was founded in 2021, with the “simple mission” to “create and offer clothing and accessories that will help improve the perception of professional truck drivers and the trucking industry, while also giving back to deserving charitable organizations.” Through their summer golf tournament, they raised $35,000 from sponsors, participants, and generous contributors including USA Truck. America’s Trucker hopes to continue and expand the golf tournament to increase the number of families they help.

Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded more than 44,000 educational scholarships to the children and spouses of America’s fallen or wounded heroes, and that number is continuing to grow. Honoring the heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us, Folds of Honor uses the folded flag as their symbol as “a constant reminder of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom,” reminding all of what it means to say thank you to these heroes and their families.

As Veterans Day approaches, recognition of America’s heroes will be seen coast to coast. As a unique organization that supports veterans and their families, Folds of Honor recognizes veterans each and every day of the year, honoring their sacrifices. With America’s Trucker’s fundraiser for Folds of Honor, they have helped spread awareness of the needs of our veterans and their families, and with the compassionate generosity of those who give, more and more families of our fallen and disabled heroes will be able to pursue their futures with hope and pride.
