At the Los Angeles premiere of his new Amazon series, ‘The Terminal List,’ actor and executive producer Chris Pratt praised World War II veterans who he wanted to properly salute for their service, according to CBN News. Chatting with the veterans at the premiere, Pratt reminded everyone of the importance of recognizing the sacrifices of our service members and showing them our appreciation. In an interview, Pratt shared that he hopes he can spend more time speaking with the veterans outside of the premiere.
Honoring the World War II veterans who surprised him at his premiere, Pratt stated that “this is a wonderful group of extraordinary men of the greatest generation.” Expressing gratitude for the sacrifices of service members is not new to Pratt who has shared a photo of his brother in uniform noting that “the more we can look at our veterans for who they are, actual people, with siblings and parents, with children and funny pasts — the more we can approach our relationships to them with compassion and understanding,” according to CBN News.
Pratt’s new Amazon series, ‘The Terminal List,’ is based on the book by Jack Carr whose novels Pratt praised. According to Amazon Prime, the synopsis of ‘The Terminal List’ reads “Lt. Commander James Reece turns to vengeance as he investigates the mysterious forces behind the murder of his entire platoon. Free from the military’s command structure, Reece applies the lessons he’s learned from nearly two decades of warfare to hunt down the people responsible.”
Learning much through his new series, Pratt takes his role seriously and is eager to continue the project. Respectful of military members and admiring their bravery, Pratt continuously honors all men and women who have served and continue to serve our country, always taking time to let them know they are sincerely appreciated.
