President Donald Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., are warning Americans that the indictment of their father is “third world prosecutorial misconduct” and a “communist level” undertaking. Outraged that their father is being targeted in what is being called a “political stunt,” according to FOX News, Eric and Don Jr. are speaking out to Americans and sounding the alarm that this is a turning point in American history.
Eric Trump immediately pointed out that the indictment is “the opportunistic targeting of a political opponent in a campaign year.” Don Jr. also found the timing significant, noting that this is not just the weaponization of the government to target a political opponent, but it is an action to “interfere in the 2024 election to stop Trump.”
Don Jr. also warned Americans who are ignoring or denying the danger the political indictment is posing to the future of the United States.
“So let’s be very clear, because there were a couple of Republicans, people who have proven themselves to be RINOs while trying to wear the MAGA cap, let’s be clear for those people who said, ‘It’s not real, Trump’s making it up, It’s not a real issue for us.’ If you don’t think that the weaponization of the entire federal government against their political enemies, against the voters half of the country approximately as we’ve seen… If you don’t think that’s a problem, you don’t even belong in any position in government, let alone president,” Don Jr. said, adding that “if you don’t think that’s an issue, guess what? Just wait till they come for you. Because they will.”
Former President Donald Trump is being indicted by Manhattan DA Alvin Braggs on charges alleging a hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels leading up to the 2016 election. It is the first time in history that a former president is facing criminal charges.
Don Jr. immediately called Bragg out for his corruption, saying “this corrupt leftist. D.A. is indicting my father on claims that even the federal government has spent six years trying to put him in jail, even though they didn’t want to touch it and yet they go forward.”
The importance of this case must not be underestimated, Don Jr. warned, who also said that “we’re in a battle for our existence.”
Trump’s attorney released a confident statement stating that Trump is “a victim of a corrupt and distorted version of the American justice system and history,” adding that “he will be vindicated.”
