The summer camps of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) are expecting more attendees this year with the ease of COVID restrictions, according to CBN News. The camps provide a special opportunity to reach athletes and coaches with spiritual, leadership, and athletic training. All around the world, participants experience a summer filled with opportunities to “unite in fellowship” and grow in their faith and athleticism through the different activities and exercises encouraged in the camps.

According to CBN News, this year’s theme is “Every” which comes from “Ephesians 1:3: All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.” Shane Williamson, FCA’s president and CEO, shared that FCA wants to be a part of “helping to heal the next generation and give them confidence and passion for their future.” He strongly believes in FCA’s mission to support that by providing a community of faith to athletes and coaches participating in the programs.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes offers six different types of summer camps including sports camps, coaches camps, power camps, leadership camps, team camps, and partnership camps. Since 1954, FCA has offered camps to help strengthen faith in athletes around the world. According to FCA, the camps provide an opportunity to inspire participants “who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.”

As more athletes and coaches embrace the mission of FCA through attending their summer camps, the power of faith will continue to grow, encouraging athletes and coaches to make an impact all around the world.
