Pro-abortion advocate and Vice President Kamala Harris has taken a big step in the fight against life by removing the word entirely while quoting the Declaration of Independence, according to Faithwire. In a speech she was giving on the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade on Sunday, Harris boldly reminded all that in the opinion of abortionists, life is not valued, especially that of an unborn child.
In her speech, Kamala said, “We are here together because we collectively believe and know America is a promise. America is a promise. It is a promise of freedom and liberty — not for some, but for all. A promise we made in the Declaration of Independence that we are each endowed with the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
Although Kamala Harris and the Biden administration appear to ignore the rights protected in the Declaration of Independence, it is not likely that they would actually forget them, especially the most famous line from the whole document. The Declaration of Independence reads, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Harris, who is furious at those who value life, called pro-lifers like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis “extremists” for advocating for life. According to Harris, in their fight against the murder of the unborn, pro-lifers are jeopardizing freedom.
In her fight to diminish American integrity, nothing, not even our most treasured founding documents written by our Founding Fathers, is off limits for Harris. Not only does she believe that “life” is a word worth omitting from the document that essentially brought America to life, she appears to find “liberty” and “the pursuit of happiness” in direct correlation with the murder of the unborn. When quoting a founding document of the country she believes she runs, it may be better in the future if Harris uses her own words, or word salad, instead of manipulating those of our Founding Fathers.
