Memorials Placed Outside of The Covenant School as Nation Prays

Memorials for the six victims who were tragically killed in a shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday have been placed outside of the school’s entrance. According to Fox News, three adults and three children lost their lives, and their community is trying to comfort one another while all are overwhelmed with grief. 

Through heartache and pain, community members showed their love and support for the six victims whose lives have been lost by placing flowers and stuffed animals outside of the school. The beloved victims included 9-year-olds Evelyn Dieckhaus, William Kinney, and Hallie Scruggs as well as Mike Hill (61), Cynthia Peak (61), and Katherine Koonce (60).

According to Faithwire, the father of Hallie Scruggs, Chad, who is the senior pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church, shared that he knows his daughter is “in the arms of Christ” now and is surrounded by his love.

Please continue to say prayers for the six victims whose lives were lost and for their families as they grieve in the wake of this heartbreaking tragedy.
