NY Church Hosts Prom For Teens With Special Needs

Epic Church in Williamsville, New York is making dreams come true for teens with special needs on one special night, according to Spectrum News 1. The church is hosting prom with all the glitz and glamour that comes with the event. The experience is sure to be spectacular with organizers covering every aspect of the event. 

Co-organizer Christel Arslanian shared that this night is especially meaningful for the teens who have had limited opportunities for social interaction given the past few years of pandemic restrictions. Now, they are looking forward to having this special event for attendees to enjoy not only a fun night out, but a chance to dress up in head-to-toe glamour. The church is setting up a boutique for attendees to find their outfits and accessories for free. The boutique will have dresses, suits, ties, shoes, purses, and jewelry that the guests can select from at no charge. All items have been donated by local businesses and members of the community.

The prom extravaganza will come complete with music, karaoke, a photographer, and even a red carpet that guests will drive down. The event will be hosted in a tent, and there will be more activities for the guests to participate in as they enjoy the night. 

Hosting this special night is sure to lift the spirits of attendees who have had to make drastic adjustments over the past couple of years. Being able to spend time with their friends in a fun environment will bring them the positivity they need to move forward. The organizers of the event have made dreams of dressing up and going to prom a reality for teens with special needs who may not have had the opportunity otherwise. This magical night is giving them something extraordinary to look forward to and the generosity of the church and their surrounding community has made it all possible.
