Vice President Kamala Harris has appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine less than one month away from the presidential election. The Democratic presidential nominee posed in a Gabriela Hearst suit with her now-signature Tiffany earrings in a photoshoot from her Washington, D.C. home, according to the New York Post. Casting Harris as “the candidate for our times,” Vogue is trying to help her win over voters who they likely hope will be more impressed by her photoshoot and distracted by the incompetence she has thus far shown the American people regarding her qualifications to handle the presidency.
In a promotion of their piece, Vogue wrote, “Only rarely are individuals summoned for acts of national rescue, but in July, Vice President Kamala Harris received one of those calls.”
Most people who rescue a nation typically have a plan, which makes the promotion odd considering Harris has yet to clearly explain her plan for the country while evidence suggests she will lead it down a far left path. If Harris were to become the President of the United States, “national rescue” will become imperative after her term.
The cover photoshoot took place on October 7, according to The Post, the same day the world mourned the one-year anniversary of the tragic terror attack in Israel amid an ongoing war.
The cover has received mixed reactions thus far, according to The Post, with some criticizing the styling.
One source from Vogue said that the vice president and her team selected her clothes, styling, and the backdrop. The source said she picked the green and pink backdrop of the print edition because the colors were that of her college sorority.
