All-Female Rowing Team Breaks World Record Rowing From California to Hawaii

Monday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed two female rowers of Team LAT 35, Sophia Denison-Johnson and Adrienne Smith, who shared their experience breaking a world record by rowing 2,000 nautical miles from San Francisco to Hawaii in just 34 days.

Sophia shared that the experience was really challenging, but the team prepared “so seriously” that they found it was actually less “scary, intimidating, and terrible” as they thought it was going to be, and it ended up being a lot of fun.

Adrienne shared that the timing of this adventure could not have been better for her as it gave her a chance to get her identity back after the day-to-day life of being a mom. With her husband’s support, Adrienne seized the opportunity to join the team, and is thrilled that she did.
