Thursday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Bill Abbate, a friend of the stabbing victim, Tommy Bailey, who was killed in an attempt to defend a police officer who was being harassed on the subway in New York City.
Abbate explained that the suspect, who is allegedly a repeat offender, was free to roam the streets of the city of nightmares because of the bail reform law. Abbate firmly asserted that if this criminal was put behind bars like he should have been, Bailey would still be with us today. Instead, the laws of New York City have created a utopia for criminals who have nothing to fear as they continue to terrorize innocent New Yorkers and bring unbearable heartache to their families. Now, New Yorkers who do the right thing like Bailey are disappearing from the streets, and cold-blooded criminals are replacing them.
Bailey was the father of three little children who will never be able to see their father again. Bailey was also a hero among heroes who volunteered to clean up at Ground Zero after the September 11th attacks.
