Arizona AG Leads Effort to Maintain Title 42, Warns of Heavy Costs if Lifted

Friday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich to discuss the court hearing on maintaining Title 42 at the Southern border. Brnovich shared that he is proud to lead the effort to argue against ending Title 42.

Brnovich explained that if Title 42 is lifted, the Biden administration’s own estimate is that 18,000 people each day will enter America illegally, which he says is “the equivalent of a basketball arena every single day coming over,” adding that it is overwhelming social services, border communities, and leading to great fiscal costs and the cost of human lives.

Brnovich further explained that what the Biden administration is doing is “not only reckless, but is inconsistent with federal law and therefore Title 42 has to remain in place, otherwise we are setting up the Southern border for the greatest invasion since the Alamo.”
