Wednesday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Outkick founder Clay Travis to discuss his reaction to the White House speaking out about the fake stage President Biden uses for his COVID briefings. Travis explained that this is even “weird” for the Biden Administration which has been running “a highly abnormal White House” to begin with.
Travis explained that “if Joe Biden was doing a great job on the murder rate in the country, if the border at our Southern border was in control, if COVID wasn’t still running rampant, if kids weren’t still in masks, if we hadn’t had the disaster in Afghanistan, [also] the disaster going on right now in Ukraine, maybe just possibly you’d be inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt,” but he adds “it just feels like another artificial level of failure for the Biden Administration when it comes to trying to protect Joe Biden in many ways from himself.”
Travis noted that press secretary Jen Psaki does not have an easy job as Joe Biden “does not provide very good arguments” for her at all, though she does benefit from “a relatively compliant and complacent press corps” compared to that of the Trump Administration.
