Dana Perino Describes What to Expect Ahead of Biden’s State of the Union Address

Just ahead of President Biden’s State of the Union Address, co-host of ‘America’s Newsroom’ Dana Perino joined FOX and Friends to discuss what Biden is likely to focus on as he addresses the American people.

Perino shared that we should see a united standing ovation for the president of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has shown extraordinary courage as he gallantly defends his country against Russian attacks. She notes that he is the inspiration for the world and his leadership will be recognized. Perino explained that President Biden will need to share how America can support Ukraine and what we are willing to do as Russia tries to take them over.

Perino will also sit down with press secretary Jen Psaki later today to discuss the situation of Ukraine in detail among other points. Regarding providing real time intelligence and other assistance, Perino suggested that they may discuss the consequences of such actions. Referencing President Zelenskyy’s address to the European Parliament, Perino leaves the question of whether he will get a standing ovation followed by support, or a standing ovation followed by being told “to hope for the best.”
