Actor Dean Cain joined FOX and Friends Monday morning to celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Cain shared that “every day should be law enforcement appreciation day,” noting the sacrifices they make to protect us and keep us safe.
Cain, who played Superman, said that the real heroes are the uniformed men and women across the country. Cain reflected on contemporary perspectives of law enforcement that threaten the respect officers deserve, noting that kids used to learn that police officers help them, and that should be the idea kids continue to learn today, not the opposite.
The first thing any community needs is security, Cain said, adding that police officers are trusted members of the community who are needed to keep people safe.
