Florida AG Explains Escalating Threat of Illegal Immigration

Friday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody about the crisis with illegal immigration and the effort of officials to push for stronger border security.

Moody was in a briefing with Texas Governor Greg Abbott who called out President Biden on the lawlessness that he must be held accountable for regarding the escalating dangerous situation at the southern border. Ainsley noted that 10,586 lbs of fentanyl was seized last year, which is 132% from the year before. Moody agreed that the Biden administration must be held accountable and act within federal law. She shared that they have seen the effects in Florida with increased drug overdoses and crime, but the President has still not showed up.

Moody asserts that the administration has not only failed to resolve the issues at the border, they are adding to them by “building infrastructure and programs to facilitate illegal immigration.” Launching campaigns to spread awareness of the growing threats, Moody explained the importance of seeing what is going on and working with law enforcement to make a plan that will resolve the problems.
