Fox Weather reporter Robert Ray joined FOX and Friends Tuesday morning to share details about his heroic rescue of a woman trapped in her car during a flash flood in Dallas, Texas.
Ray explained that as he was just about to do a report, he turned around to see a vehicle floating in the flood, and upon hearing a woman scream for help, he ran up to the vehicle to save her. Ray pulled the woman out of her window and carried her to safety. Though insisting on being humble as he expressed sincere gratitude for the work of first responders who save people in dire situations all the time, Ray is a hero among heroes for taking action, knowing what to do, and rescuing the woman quickly and efficiently.
Ray noted that if we see someone who needs help, we need to do something about it, adding that it is the “American way.”
