Franklin Graham Details Samaritan’s Purse Relief Efforts in Florida

Friday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Franklin Graham, the president of the Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, to discuss his organization’s relief efforts in Florida after Hurricane Ian.

Graham explained that Samaritan’s Purse has set up two Disaster Relief Units so far in Lee County, Florida, one of the hardest hit areas, and is expecting about 1,000 volunteers to work in communities cutting trees, cleaning up homes, and more. In the 18-wheel tractor trailers they have heading to Florida, Graham said that they contain chainsaws, rakes, shovels, and other supplies to clean up the communities.

Graham expressed enormous gratitude for the volunteers who are on the ground and making their way to the area to help, adding that volunteers are what they need most of all right now. As Samaritan’s Purse continues working with FEMA, local law enforcement, and local churches to coordinate efforts, Graham asked for continued prayers for the people of Florida and for the volunteers who are making their way there to provide aid and assistance.
