Friday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Charlotte County Deputy First Class Garrett Parrish to discuss his and his partner’s incredible rescue of a man who was trapped in a burning vehicle.
Officer Parrish explained that he received a call around 1:00 a.m. about the vehicle crash and fire to which he responded immediately. With the arrival of his partner, he described the fire worsening. Unable to cut through the seatbelt, Parrish explained that he needed to use his fire extinguisher with one hand while pulling the man out with the other. An ambulance was dispatched and the man is now expected to survive.
These Florida police officers showed their extraordinary bravery as their selfless and heroic actions saved the life of this man just in time.
