Wednesday morning on FOX and Friends, rapper Percy Miller, who is also known as Master P, was highlighted for his incredible efforts giving back to his community. As a hip hop musician and businessman, Master P is using his success to help his community and inspire others to do the same.
Master P opened his restaurant ‘Big Poppa’ in Louisiana, which he hopes to turn into a franchise. He also has created his own brand of “quality premium products at affordable costs” which can be found at Rouses Market where they share his passion for “food, family, and community.” Products include Master Crunch Cereal and the brand new Soldier Snacks which have a unique feature. Inspired by his grandfather who fought in the Vietnam War and “for the children of our heroes who sacrificed their lives to save ours, Folds of Honor will receive a donation for every bag purchased.”
Giving back to his community appears to have no limits for Master P who also visits and helps the Guste Home in New Orleans where elderly members of the community stay. Master P, whose genuine kindness and compassion is felt by all he helps, shared that “success and wealth is about what you give, not what you have.”
