Leo Terrell Argues Newsom Did Not Sign Drug Injection Site Bill For Selfish Reasons

Fox News contributor Leo Terrell joined FOX and Friends Tuesday morning to discuss California Governor Gavin Newsom’s veto of a bill that would have allowed certain cities to open supervised drug injection sites, citing concerns about “unintended consequences” after the San Francisco sites had to get shut down for public safety.

Terrell argued that the only reason Newsom made this decision was to protect himself in a run for president knowing that he would not have the support of Iowa if he signed it, though “every progressive bone in his body wanted to sign that bill.” Citing the horrible economic situation, soaring crime, and homelessness plaguing California’s cities, Terrell asserted that progressives are intent on “tearing down this society,” calling it their number one agenda.
