Friday morning on FOX and Friends, the team discussed the effects of defunding the Minneapolis Police Department which has led to the need for crowdfunding as the crime rate increased nearly 20 percent. Residents are being asked to raise $210,000 by donating $220 a month for six months in order to get more cops on the streets. Although their tax dollars are supposed to go to the police, they are being redirected elsewhere, forcing residents to pay for policing themselves in order to live in a safer community.
