Monday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Alana Cottrill, breast cancer survivor and mother of two including one six-month-old baby, to discuss the baby formula shortage across the United States that is soaring to a new level.
Cottrill explained that millions of moms are struggling to find the formula they need to feed their babies. As a breast cancer survivor, Cottrill never thought this would be something she had to worry about, but not being able to breastfeed means that she is relying on the formula to sustain her baby, as are many other mothers.
Cottrill explained that the lack of coverage of the formula shortage is alarming and it seems the issue is “flying under the radar.” She hopes to bring more attention to the problem to help the struggling mothers avoid the nightmare of not being able to sustain their babies.
