NYS Senate Candidate Reacts to Mask Mandates for Toddlers

Tuesday morning on FOX and Friends, Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Democratic New York State Senate candidate Danyela Souza Egorov who discussed parents’ protests of mask mandates for children under five years old.

Egorov asserted that New York has not prioritized children during the entire COVID pandemic as they opened restaurants and gyms before schools, and have allowed unvaccinated athletes to continue to perform. Additionally, Egorov noted that toddlers are among the last groups still mandated to wear masks in New York City.

Referencing the negative impact on learning, Egorov explained that students are experiencing delays and are not ready to move forward in their education. In addition to promising to put children first, Egorov shared that her three priorities include public safety, rigorous education, and getting the economy back on track.
