Piers Morgan Reacts to the Latest Harry and Meghan Headlines

Fox Nation host Piers Morgan joined FOX and Friends Monday morning to discuss British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s assertion that illegal immigration is “not fair” to British taxpayers or those who migrated to the country legally. Morgan also discussed Harry and Meghan’s latest headlines.

Morgan explained that after he spoke with Sunak, one of the PM’s major focal points is securing the border of the UK and doing so within a year. Although Morgan said that the problems at the UK’s border do not compare to the crisis at America’s southern border, he noted that the illegal immigration is frightening many in the UK. Sunak’s plan, according to Morgan, is to immediately refuse asylum for anyone who comes ashore illegally.

Regarding Meghan and Harry’s invitation to the upcoming coronation of King Charles III, Morgan shared that the couple’s popularity in the UK is “unbelievably bad,” even worse than Prince Andrew’s, and he suggests they do not go. Morgan cited Harry’s book and media interviews that tore apart King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate, and others in his immediate family as the reason why it would be inappropriate.

Commenting on King Charles III’s “eviction notice” of Frogmore Cottage, Harry and Meghan’s UK home, Morgan questioned why the property should be theirs, noting all the bad words they have shared and continue to share about the family that has financially supported them.

While Harry and Meghan responded to the invitation by stating it will be “their decision,” Morgan found such a response to be without any graciousness. Morgan suggested that Harry and Meghan will likely attend the coronation because they will need more material for their new books and documentaries.

Morgan said Harry and Meghan cannot have their “royal cake and eat it too.”
