Rep. Dan Crenshaw Warns Against Weaponizing Institutions for Political Gain in the Aftermath of Mar-a-Lago Raid

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) joined Ainsley Earhardt Wednesday morning on FOX and Friends to discuss the aftermath of the FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and the growing concerns about the safety of FBI agents Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland as threats have been made towards them on social media.

Crenshaw pointed out that while the threats to the FBI agents are unacceptable, the AG refused to provide protection for Supreme Court Justices when they were not just receiving threats, but had people showing up at their homes including one man armed with a weapon. Frustrated, Crenshaw added that the people are angry with the pattern of the Department of Justice’s behavior that has revealed that they have been heavily politicized since Obama was office. Crenshaw warned against weaponizing governmental institutions for political gains citing such action as the real destruction of democracy.
