Wednesday morning on FOX and Friends, co-host Steve Doocy interviewed retired New York City Police Department Narcotics Detective and founder of Midnight Platoon Clothing, Andrew Liakos, as we honor the life and sacrifice of fallen heroes Officer Wilbur Moore and Detective Jason Rivera.
Midnight Platoon designed a special t-shirt and patch honoring the fallen heroes of which 100% of sales will go to the families of the fallen. The t-shirt was designed with the motto of the New York City Police Department, “Fidelis Ad Mortem” which means “faithful unto death.” Liakos shared that he chose to include the motto because all law enforcement took the oath knowing the risks and they remain committed to doing whatever it takes to keep the city safe. The fallen police officers protected the city of New York, and their sacrifice will always be remembered and honored.
Liakos shared that Midnight Platoon has sold over 3,000 t-shirts raising about $60,000 so far. Expressing appreciation for all of the love and support they have received, this cause is important to Liakos who put in countless hours perfecting the design of the t-shirt to properly honor the fallen heroes.
