Veteran Concerned With Low Military Recruitment Suggests Education is the Problem

Army veteran John James joined FOX and Friends Monday morning to discuss his reaction to the renaming of Army bases, and military branches falling short of reaching their recruitment goals.

James reminded viewers that the Republican party, “the party of Lincoln,” erased the Confederacy and ended slavery, adding that while he does not have an issue with renaming posts, he suggests we learn from history, not forget it. James also called out the administration for caring more about what military posts are named than the people in them, citing fentanyl overdoses and open borders as being significant threats to our military and nation.

More concerning to James, however, is the alarming failure of our military to meet recruiting goals. He suggested that with younger generations being taught to despise America, it comes as no surprise that recruitment to protect and defend our country is low.
